World Mental Health Day 2024 - Meaningful Connections Matter

When it comes to mental health, meaningful connections matter ❤

This World Mental Health Day, we are celebrating meaningful connections for good mental health. Connections with family, friends, animals, community, colleagues, supports and services.

A key focus of the EXPHYS BETTER MOOD Program is on meaningful connection. Be supported through an exercise buddy, including family, friend or animal. Be supported by community, including exercise groups or facilities.

BETTER Health for Women | Health equity is measured by outcomes. Through the EXPHYS BETTER Health for Women program, women are gaining greater understanding of their health and wellbeing, rebuilding confidence, and connecting with trusted resources. 💜 Better support. 💜 Stronger understanding. 💜 Better outcomes for women. These outcomes reflect the standard of care required to improve women’s health.

International Women’s Day 2026 | Balance The Scales Today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate women everywhere, their strength, resilience, and achievements. For too many women, pain is ignored and care delayed, that’s not equality. Together, we can 'Balance the Scales by creating fair, inclusive systems that support and empower women. 💜

As International Women’s Day 2026 approaches, we recognise that gender equality must include health equity. The 2026 theme, “Balance the Scales,” calls for fair, inclusive and accessible systems, including in healthcare, where many women continue to face inequities in chronic pain support and women's health more broadly. Pain is normalised and symptoms are often dismissed. At EXPHYS, we are committed to supporting women through evidence-based exercise physiology, education and whole-person rehabilitation. We help women manage persistent pain, rebuild strength and confidence, and return to work and life. Health equity means recognising their experiences and providing care that truly meets their needs. 💜
