2026 National Pain Week This National Pain Week, we are recognising the role pain science education, exercise physiology and professional support can play in helping people living with chronic pain. Coordinated annually by Chronic Pain Australia, the week aims to raise awareness of the 3.6 million Australians living with chronic pain and reduce the stigma surrounding the condition. Pain science uses current scientific evidence to understand pain, why it can persist and what supports recovery. The EXPHYS BETTER Pain Program combines evidence-based pain science, functional upgrading and exercise physiology to support meaningful recovery for people living with chronic pain.
