Dr Vicky Phillips, General Manager, presented as a finalist for the Practitioner Award, at the recent Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Research to Practice 2024 Conference. This study provided retrospective analysis of a pain science program delivered by the wider EXPHYS team, to 1,275 people living with persistent pain. A wonderful collaboration between EXPHYS, Deakin University and AIA Australia. Exercise physiologist-led pain science coaching resulted in clinically meaningful pain reduction and functional improvements, return to work outcomes, and positive customer experience.
